Work and school. Had a map meeting at 11:00am to discuss maps and map resources and didn’t get out until 2:00pm! Lesa went to the dentist, got a clean and polish, no cavities. I got a text from Mrs Davis saying Ashley was in trouble and would have to sit out a game tonight, and that Mr Hudson would be calling me about it. Saw where I had a missed Springville call and called him back, he was in a meeting and would get back to me. Lesa went to school to pick up the boys for their eye doctor appointment and Mr Hudson saw Lesa and asked if she’d like to talk about Ashley and Lesa told him no, talk to me and I’d fill her in. So he called me and let me know that Ashley, two other cheerleaders, and three girl basket players intimidated and put hands on a girl suspected of stealing $20 from one of them. In-school expulsion for all six, plus Mrs Davis found out and is making the cheerleaders involved sit out a game, not sure about the basketball players. So, I pick up Ashley, take her to Needmore for the game, she has to sit out, all three girls were in tears. They got to cheer for the second game. Got home late, ate pizza, kids showered and did homework, and off to bed. Ashley knows she has to face our punishment as well – Lesa and I decided after she went to bed we’d take away desert for a week which she will absolutely hate us for. I can hear it already: it’s not fair. Lesa told me the optometrist said the boys are slightly near-sighted but probably wouldn’t need glasses for a couple of years.
