Rainy days and Mondays. Got kids to school okay. Went to SAIC, stayed all day. I’m sick, have a cold, my nose is runny and my head stopped up, being sick sucks. Left SAIC early and picked up kids from school and headed home and took a nap while the kids watched TV. Lesa got home and we ate supper. The boys had a Pack meeting, Bruce did a skit with his den mates. Got most of the way home afterward and Lesa got a call, I left my phone at the school, Nicole Rogers had it. Turned around and came back and as we was sitting at the intersection of Highway 54 and Old Farm Road there was loud smack as two vehicles hit head on doing 55 right in front of us. A little maroon pickup started to turn in front of a white SUV. I parked and helped the driver of the maroon truck, his mom was hurt, he was okay. Two kids in the other vehicle were hurt but the mom was okay. Both drivers okay, the two kids and the passenger in the maroon truck took ambulances to the hospital. Nothing looked life threatening. Scared the crap out of the kids, especially the noise, Ashley thought someone got shot. A tire had come off and a third vehicle hit it. Eventually got my phone back. Watched TV to get the kids’ minds off the wreck but it didn’t really help.
