Kids slept in, we had a late breakfast and late start to Sunday School. Our church open and in session, we stayed home. Live feed was crap again, so we watched Sherwood Oaks instead. After lunch Lesa set up the badminton set and we tried to teach the kids how to play, they did alright. Then we had squirt gun fights. Everyone got soaked and cooled down. Kids demolished the woods fort and expanded the swing set fort and intend to sleep out again tonight. They rode bikes some as well. I mucked the rabbit hutch. Lesa made a new dish, had green and red bell peppers on top of rice and the kids liked it, well Bruce was so-so with it but ate it. An unexpected storm rolled in right after we ate, thunder and lightening, nothing in the forecast, rained hard for a couple of hours and then slowed down to a drizzle. The kids watched The Nightmare Before Christmas and wanted to go out but we nixed that since everything was wet. Sent kids to bed at a later time then usual and they still kept getting up. Finally about 10p they went to sleep. Big kids up a bit later reading.
