I took the kids to the bus stop. Eastern Greene Middle School going on hybrid in-person/virtual starting today. Dillan will be out of school on Friday, the county has turned orange. I worked from Scientia and Lesa from home. I was supposed to be at SAIC all week but there were two cases of COVID so they locked the place down and I was told not to report, so I’ve stayed in Bloomington all week so far. Dillan and Ashley got to wear their costumes to school today. I left work and went to pick up Ashley from basketball practice, I stopped by Dollar General and got some bottled water we intend to donate to Eastern Greene, I tried to deliver it while waiting for Ashley to get finished but both the Middle School and Elementary School offices were closed so I wasn’t able to. Ashley came popping out, she was wearing her new practice jersey and she was chatting away – all the way home. I really enjoy seeing her that excited. We had a breakfast dinner and then it was showers and TV. Kids were thinking because Dillan is virtual that school was out and we had a hard time getting them to stay in bed.
