Took Ashley, Dwyane, and Bruce to the bus stop; Dillan stayed home due to hybrid attendance. Bruce got into trouble on the bus again. Lesa texted and said she wants to take Ashley to practice tomorrow. WTF? Something is going on but whatever it is she isn’t saying. I worked all day in Bloomington and Lesa worked all day at home – plus Dillan. Got home and all the kids came rushing out to greet me, Lesa was no where to be found, still don’t know where she was but guessing in the woods having a smoke. No loggers to be seen, guess they knocked off early. Puppy pooped in the living room and then peed in the dining room and wouldn’t listen to us and got on the counter and ate some of our pizza and keeps trying to take off into the woods – lots to teach her! It was pizza and a movie night, the kids picked Maze Runner, the first one. Not sure it was age appropriate and it was kind of scary for them in places but they seemed to enjoy it, I like it too. Ashley has read the book and tried to give away various parts but I did a meatloaf on her and said “Stop right there! Before you go any further. No spoilers allowed.” They immediately wanted to watch the second one but we said no. Came across a James Bond marathon which as it turns out was a tribute to Sean Connery who died on Halloween at age 90, I hadn’t heard and I like him as an actor. All of the kids stayed up later than usual but none of them got to see the ending. Lesa made up a bunch of hard boiled eggs, Bruce shut the door to the coop before it got dark, Lesa went out to take care of their water and stuff and found them all huddled by the door. Chickens don’t function well in the dark so we made Bruce get in the run and carry each one in, all 15 of them. Still waiting on election results but it’s looking like Biden is going to be our next president.
