Bruce got up, saw Louise had pooped on the pee pad, came to tell us, and Louise went berserk barking at him, scared the crap out of him. Louise had a really nice deep bark and it will stop you in your tracks. Lesa and I both got up, calmed the dog down, Bruce climbed into bed with me and got him calmed down, the other kids woke up along with us. Everybody was awake so we just got up. We’re happy she’s protecting the place already but I’m sad Bruce is afraid of her now. Half an hour later the loggers showed up – on a Sunday morning – all day until 5p – on a Sunday! Dillan had the Sunday School lesson this morning, the kids gave him a hard time, kind of payback for last week. Kids were wound up and crazy all day, wouldn’t listen, wouldn’t quit hitting on each other. We sent them outside multiple times, gave them chores to earn their tablets and the Wii. Lesa was totally frustrated and exasperated with all the kids, the noise, the dog, everything so I told her go get a haircut, she went to Fantastic Sams but they are now closed Sundays, so she went to Great Clips in Bloomington. She had alone time all afternoon and it did her some good I think. She made hamburgers for dinner and then we watched Maze Runner 3, long movie so the kids got ready for bed afterward. Played with Louise and she is starting to get acclimated with us – well with Lesa and me.
