Got up at 5:30a, took dogs out to go potty, had to stand in the rain to get Louise to go outside. Got sopping wet myself which pretty much ruined my morning sleeping in. Ashley made me breakfast. Did SOCC and then did C3, kids weren’t into motion videos or anything. Ashley did watch with us at least so maybe one is saved. Made the boys go outside. They keep horsing around, banging and tearing stuff up. Helped Lesa with the coop and put a second heat lamp in, it made a big difference. Found a bunch of eggs under the nesting box so I’m going to have to do something about that and rework the nesting box. We have a rooster that keeps disappearing and won’t go in the coop, but runs out and greets Lesa each morning. The kids are still out of control. Louise is scared to death of them and it’s sad to see. She keeps growling and barking at them and we’re going to have to take her back before she bites one of the kids. It’s been a bad, stressful week but at least we didn’t have any loggers, dinner was good, and we got to do church even if it was virtual.
