Woke up early, Louise was barking, took her out to go potty. She barked at the kids again and didn’t want to stop. So we decided we’d call Greene County Humane Society and see about taking her back, kids were against that and we know that if we return her she’ll be label child aggressive and likely not get adopted out again which means euthanasia. We talked with the kids about the situation, and got their input. Lesa read the book Murphy’s Three Homes: A Story for Children in Foster Care by Jan Levinson Gilman, and took a vote on whether to return her or give her more time to get adjusted to us – the vote was 6-0 to give her more time. The dog has no idea how close she came to losing her family. It looks like Bruce might have pink eye so I called the doctor and they called in a script. Ashley and me went to CVS drive through to get it and I stopped by Dollar General to get some Saltine crackers for soup. On the home we stopped by the new Dollar General in Fayetteville, that place is nice and is going to be my new goto place for getting stuff. Lesa had a grocery pickup from Walmart just after supper and the kids watched the second Brady Bunch disc until she got back and then watched Atlantis The Lost Empire on Blu-Ray. That put us into bedtime territory so the boys went to bed. I play Go Fish with Dillan and Ashley for a little while until it was their bedtime. Louise did well the rest of the day and I’m going to work some tonight / this morning.
