I forgot to mention the elf showed up last Sunday morning. Took the kids a while to figure out whether the elf was a boy or girl, and it took even longer to learn his name: Bob Curious George Noel. I also asked Lesa about the kids getting home. She said they usually get home just 10 minutes before she does. Bruce calls her as soon as they get home. She always answers because he’s looking to hear a parent’s voice – a comfort thing. They’re not really scared or anything, they don’t lock the door, and they’re usually in their rooms playing well both together or separately. She said they usually have a snack by the time she gets in the door. She seems to think things are working out okay so far. Of course some days she’s already home and her and Bloom walk up to meet the kids. Nothing really happened today. Just school and work and basketball of course, Dillan and Ashley both had basketball practice and all that went per usual. Ashley made Ethan and Cadence and some of her other friends gifts for Christmas. Dwyane was upset because I wouldn’t let him show me what he got me for Christmas early. I kept telling him I want to be surprised on Christmas and I’d be in the Christmas spirit so I’d like it even better if we waited. He reluctantly agreed. Television, showers, bed, etc.
