Last day of school and now the kids are officially on Christmas break – Lord help us and have mercy on our souls! So, Lesa worked from home. I took kids to the bus stop. I went into work as well. Got a call from Tracy’s grandfather, the school won’t let ride the bus home citing COVID as the reason so he said he would just drop her off at our house and got directions. We had our pizza lunch and office happy hour and I stayed for that. I had a bit of bourbon and others found my contribution enjoyable. I got home about 6p and more than half was gone from each bottle. Once home I sampled a bit more. Tracy was here. Ashley was beaming, it was obvious to anyone she was having a really good time and happy. Ashley and Tracy, Dillan and myself played a game of Yahtzee and that was a lot of fun. After that the girls stayed in Ashley’s room for the most part. All the boys were being silly and we accused them of liking Tracy, they said they didn’t, but at the same time they kept showing off for her. Everyone got to bed late tonight and I suspect the girls are still up. I’m hitting the sack because it’s going to be me who wakes them up and gets them breakfast before practice.
