Today was supposed to be a day of rest but far from it. Bruce kept trying to get me up early so we could go get our new puppy. First he tried just tried telling me it was time to get up, then hwe turned on the light, then he brought mer coffee. Sheesh! So, I got up and everyone got ready and I called and we went to get the pup. Went to Crane Credit Union and it wouldn’t let me take out enough money. Tried Lesa’s card. Same thing – transaction blocked. So we drove all the way into Bloomington to IUCU and got the cash we needed, then we headed north of Linton to get the pup. Got her, paid the man, and headed home. Lesa had me stopped at Walmart in Linton for puppy food. Then we got home. Switzee and Bloom were leary of her but didn’t kill her either. We ate lunch and the kids adored Vicky. Then Damon got dropped off by his dad around 4p to spend the night with Dwyane, or maybe Bruce. He’s friends with both. They rode bikes – a lot! Ashley and me went to Ruler for 2-liters and then Mill Street pizza for pizza. We ate. Boys played. I started a fire in the fire pit and we had smores. Almost couldn’t get a fire going because the wood was wetish. Then we sat down for a movie, the boys wound up upstairs playing, Ashley in her room, and Lesa reading so in the end it was just Dillan and me. I mostly played Solitare and Sudoku on my phone. The puppy was stressed of course and had diarrhea because of it but Ashley didn’t care and put water and puppy pads down in her room and slept with Vicky. I had to send Bruce to sleep on the couch because he just couldn’t settle down. Everyone was asleep by 11:30p and I’m about to go to bed myself.
