Ashley got up before everyone else and hogged the shower and bathroom and when I called her out on it she got defensive and argumentative and acted like I was the bad person. Well, that didn’t sit well with me and wouldn’t take her shit. Of course she escalated and I escalated and it became a battle. She got on the bus crying. Lesa was at home and I went into work. I didn’t send my 1-4-3 at 1:43 like I have for months because frankly I’m just not there yet. She bites the hands that feed her and burns bridges as she goes. Doug cut another tree and I’ve been trying to figure out a time to get it – it’s going to have to wait until tomorrow. Lesa picked up Dwyane from school when they returned. Bruce rode the bus home and was met by Lesa, Dwyane and the dogs. I picked up Dillan from track practice and we went home. Ashley had rehearsal again and I picked her up at 6p again. We rushed home, ate pizza, and left for Solsberry Christian Church and the Good Friday service – Kristian Beasley preached. Took the family to Dairy Queen afterward and then we headed home. Played a game of chess with Bruce before his bedtime, then played two games with Ashley before she went to bed. Dillan was watching The Flight of the Phoenix and I watched the last part of it with him and then he went to bed. Lesa is reading, the dogs are huffing, and I’m about to finish up and go to bed myself. Ashley and me are at least on speaking terms but I’m not letting my guard down anytime soon because she’ll try to take advantage sooner or later – she can’t seem to help herself.
