Got up real early for a Saturday: 5:55a! Got Dillan and Ashley up. Today is Indiana Hunter Education day taught by our neighbor Cole Hollingsworth – pure coincidence. The class was just west of Linton at the Shriners Club. The training was an all day event starting at 8am and ending at 6p, but the certification test actually started at around 4p and you had two hours to get it finished – we were done at 5p. Lunch was provided. Ashley met a girl and now they’re friends. The test was multiple choice and true/false questions and to pass the test you needed 70 correct out of a 100 questions. Adults took the test too. I scored 100%, Ashley scored 99%, and Dillan scored 95%. We all passed! Lesa had the boys all day. She took the boys with when she went to CVS to pick up her script. Since it was getting to be lunchtime they voted to go to Linton and ate at Wendy’s. Lesa stopped at Walmart before heading home. The kids and me headed straight home after we finished our tests, we picked up Lesa and the boys, and we all went to Bedford to eat at Golden Corral. Everyone was stuff but that didn’t keep us from building a fire in the firepit and having some S’mores. After a couple of hours around the fire, and simply to stay up late, the kids wanted to play cards. We played three rounds of Exploding Kittens and two rounds of Go Fish before things erupted into chaos. I called it over and done with and sent everyone to bed. I’m hitting the sack to – before Lesa even – hell, I’ll be asleep before she even gets back from the kitchen!
