A day full of drama! Started out a normal day of Lesa going to work, waiting with the kids at the bus stop and going to school, and me going to work. Then I got the call. The call where Ashley was cut from the play and everyone hated her and blamed her and life was all over. She had gone into Mr. Drummond’s office and let him know that she had two meets this week and was going to track practice part of the time Tuesday but would be there Thursday all day. When I say all day I mean until 8p! Anyway, he didn’t like the idea and cut her from five parts to two parts and according to Ashley no one will even notice her. I let it ride awhile and then wrote Mr. Drummond an email asking him to reconsider. He did, he’s letting her stay in the play and accommodating her. I took it to mean things were as they where before Ashley walked into his office but Ashley claims he is tricking me. Maybe he is? Anyway, She had her meet against Clay City and of course Dillan did too. The boys lost by a point, the girls just lost. The big kids rode the team bus to the meet and back and I picked them up about 9:30p when they got back. The boys also had a ballgame – their first one so everyone said I needed to go. The boys won 13-2 and didn’t have a single hit – all the scoring was from walks and stealing bases – not one single hit. Boys didn’t care how they won – they won! Watched TV with the boys until their bedtime, got the big kids as mentioned, and then they called it a night themselves. Tired, and it’s only a Monday.
