The Williams kids say the darnedest things!
Dillan to Dave: You were a baby once? Dave: Yes, I was a baby. Then I was a little kid. Then I was a big kid. Then I became an adult. After thinking about it for a few seconds, Dillan said: That’s funny!
Ashley: Daddy? Dave: What? Ashley: Um … um … did I hear you tell daycare you was going to court? Dave: Yes. Ashley: I hope the judge lets you keep us. Dave: Me too.
[Saturday is hauling trash day.] Dave to Ashley: Do you want to go with Dillan and me to haul trash? Ashley: I don’t want to take trash. It’s stinky. Too much stinky out there!
Ashley, walking with other kids down the church aisle in front of about 200 people waved and shouted: Hi Daddy! Hi Dillan! Hi Mommy! Lesa whispers to Dave: She’s not shy, is she?
Ashley, while trying Brussels sprouts: They are yucky. I will die.
Ashley: Pray for Ernie. He had surgery. Dillan: And pray for summer! [Ernie is one of Ashley’s daycare teachers. He had a diabetic amputation of half his foot.]
Dillan talking about one of his Matchbox car race tracks this morning: I was thinking about that race track! I was dreaming about it!
After watching Treehouse Masters, Dillan asked: Why did they put a house in the tree? Dave: Because they can. I bet you’d like to have a tree house to play in. Dillan: Yeah, one on the ground.
Lesa asked Dillan and Ashley to pick up their room. A short time later, Dillan said: Look Mommy! We made you a maze!
Dillan to Daycare Teacher: I have a Wii game at home and I have the highest score – even higher than Daddy. Daycare Teacher: What’s your favorite game? Dillan: Wii game!
