The Williams kids say the darnedest things!
Dave and Lesa to Ashley and Dillan: There will be a day when Dillan will like girls and Ashley will like boys. Dillan: Yuck! I like boys. Ashley: I will never like boys! I will call them names!
Dave to Ashley: I thought you said you were hungry? Ashley: I didn’t know we was having broccoli.
Ashley: I was sleeping and talking to Dillan at the same time. Silly me.
Ashley: They didn’t have girl Band-Aids – only boy Band-Aids – but it’s Spider-Man so it’s okay.
Dillan, after seeing his first theater movie: That’s my favorite movie!
Ashley, while putting her dolls to bed, says to Lesa: When I grow up I want two babies, and I’ll never leave them like my mommy left me. [Disclaimer: Ashley did not hear this from us. It is something she worked out on her own.]
Ashley to Dave: Are we home yet ’cause I want to hug Mommy.
At his kindergarten meet and greet, while hiding behind my legs, Dillan says: I’m not really scared and afraid – I’m being shy.
Dave: Ashley, didn’t you hear me ask you to pick up your toys? Ashley: No Daddy. My ears are too small and filled up to hear.
