Spent about $200 to pay for Dillan, Ashley, Dwyane’s T-shirts and field trips just for June! Will have another batch in July. Received email and Review Hearing filing from Stephanie Helton today, Nicolle didn’t sign voluntary termination papers. Visit and psych evals coming soon.
Dillan tutoring scheduled, transportation arranged, such relief! My night for homework with him, disaster! Wound up lecturing him. Doesn’t know sight words, phonetics, or how to sound out words. Can’t do single digit addition either, worried for him! Fell, hit his head, has knot!
Lovely morning, 2 sick kids plus Dwyane pooped himself, he thought it was a fart. Called Lindsey Bailey at JOINT Services, talked about Dillan’s testing, maybe in August. Trying to setup tutoring for Dillan this summer; organizing logistics, transportation; he needs help reading.
Camped with Ashley, in at 3:45a, too much discomfort, fun anyway. Played all morning, tried to get Ashley to take nap, she was tired. A day of water balloons, squirt guns, pool fun; I got in pool, was immediately attacked. Ashley and Dillan not feeling well. Kids keep getting up.
Church, graduation ceremonies, Dillan advancing, Ashley honored for kindergarten graduation, it was nice. Squirt gun/water balloon fights, swimming, wet and crazy fun in general. Lesa volunteered me to spend the night with Ashley in the tent. Ashley super excited, me not so much.
Rough morning, Bruce whining. Cut grass, cleaned/filled pool, kids swam. Took Dillan to Glow in the Dark Golf in Bloomington with his friends Bruce and Patrick, he had awesome time! Got Frosties for ride home. Baths, reading, bed! Put Bruce’s new electric Jeep together; surprise!
Friday! Dillan had Honors Celebration; awarded certificate for Improved Reading, Language Arts, Math; Mrs. Wronowicz awarded him Smiley and Hard Worker certificates; he did good! All kids glad school is over, summer break started. Pizza! Nice day, played outside. Stayed up later.
Ashley Kindergarten Graduation! Wonderful time! Bittersweet: sad/glad she’s growing up; but much too fast! Afterward took her to Judah-Logan park before going to daycare, wish we could’ve gone home but have to work, work can suck sometimes! I’m mad over call about testing Dillan.
Hornet Hustle 1k/5k today; Ashley did 1k; Dillan strained groin, had to cheer; both got shirts, Ashley ribbon. Very nice day, kids played outside, had MS trouble due to heat. T-ball practice canceled again! Kids excited school is over, trouble sleeping. Ashley graduates tomorrow!
Nice day! Dillan slid into home last night, strained groin, limping. Water gun/water balloon fights after supper, great fun! Big kids new favorite show: Battle Bots! Note from Mrs. Wronowicz: Dillan will advance to 2nd, but tested for learning disability; he has focus disability!
