Another new week, kids tired, we’re tired, we haven’t recouped from weekend yet. Last week of school, Lesa took week of vacation to relax, garden, and attend graduation events. Dillan had ballgame, River Dogs vs. Muck Dogs, he did good, Amber incorporated visit by attending game.
Church, Ashley still getting birthday wishes from people. Beautiful day, warm, sun shining. Kids played outside all afternoon and with neighbor Aiden. Set up Ashley’s tent. Spent three hours tilling garden for Lesa, put up cucumber fence. Kids had trouble settling down for sleep.
Atwater, Walmart, Dollar General with Dillan, saw coyote. Ashley’s birthday party at Springville Park, six years old! School, church friends, family from Indy came to show Ashley love. Games, food, gifts, she had great day! Asian Pearl, kids favorite restaurant. Showers, bedtime.
Friday! Ashley excited about birthday party tomorrow. Pizza! Our hero Tammy Minger intervened with Sandy Bowman on PAVA! Dillan copped an attitude over Bruce and toy truck, had issues all night even with Lesa. Sent to bed early, had a meltdown! I let him up to watch TV once calm.
Took Bruce for 3-year wellness check, everything good physically, developmentally. Went to Walmart, Ashley’s tent not there, donuts of course! Bruce enjoyed spending time with me. Love that kid! Took Ashley, Dillan to T-ball practice, no one there, Springville Elem. Park instead.
Overslept, antihistamines in bloodstream from reaction last night. Long workday again. Kids doing well. Took different way home past dump for change of scenery. Kids played outside, did homework, watched Scooby-Doo. Ashley has snacks tomorrow so I helped her prepare. An okay day.
Two people RSVP-ed for Ashley’s birthday party, glad it’s not going to be a bust! Open Arms called and conducted survey. Long day. Kids unaware I had rash attack. School winding down, kids excited. Helped Dillan with homework. Everyone got baths. Lesa did most of the work. Tired!
Happy birthday Bruce, 3 years old! Balloons, ribbons when he awoke. Mini-birthday party after supper: strawberry shortcake, presents, Bruce knew he was special today! He enjoyed festivities! Last Pack meeting, Dillan advanced to Wolf, whole family present, wants to sign up again.
Church mix up, Serving Deacon and Jr. Church! Took communion to Garden Villa. Arby’s. Kid’s summer haircuts at Great Clips, they look good! Took naps. Played outside, got wet and muddy. Our 34th anniversary! I had evening church. Lesa gave kids showers. Hugs and kisses once home!
Up early, bagels, BMV, Lowe’s, hauled recyclables, Recycle Center permanently closed, going to landfill discovered new Recycle Center! Hauled trash. All but Dillan went with, he hung with Lesa all day, even grocery shopped with her. Stayed in, cold outside! Casa Brava for dinner!
