Slept in until 9a, Lesa handled kids! Walmart, got lots of kid stuff. Dairy Queen lunch and treat. College Mall next, new experience, very excited seeing all the stores. Got Ashley ballet shoes, tights. Got Dillan bat, balls, helmet. Kids played outside, played catch with Dillan.
Friday! DCS sent voluntary termination papers to Isha, no word from GAL. Ordered pizza from Springville Store, 10 mins. later no power, pizza late. Took Dillan, Ashley to Norm of the North at Bedford Library. Boys stayed with Lesa: took walk, watched bees, TV, popcorn, read book.
Power went out, kids freaked, kept me up all night, lantern nightlights the answer. Tammy Minger had PAVA for us by noon! After emails to-and-fro, sent Sandy Bowman copy for input, nothing yet. Dillan’s T-ball practice was canceled. Signed Ashley up for ballet at Kats in Bedford.
Took Dillan, Ashley to school. Took Dwyane, Bruce to dentist; Bruce did great; Dwyane okay with female hygienist, freaked over male dentist. Bruce squeezed toothpaste all over truck, himself on way to daycare. Called lawyer. Ashley doing better. Homework, played ball with Dillan.
Back to work, school. Ashley’s teacher texted, let me know Ashley wasn’t feeling well, called Lesa, she picked her up. Sandra Bowman canceled for 2nd time, done with her, calling Tammy Minger tomorrow to ask her to do PAVA. My guess: it’s going to be another year before adoption.
Ashley fever/cough, Bruce red streak in foot, I called in sick, stayed home with Ashley, watched movies, napped. Picked up Bruce from daycare at 1:00p, off to see doctor. Ashley ear infection, virus; Bruce infection. CVS for Amoxicillin, topical ointment. Frosty’s. Dillan Scouts.
Church, Lesa stayed home. Kids played outside except Ashley who’s still sick. Dillan wrecked on his bike, got scraped up. Bruce’s foot has red streak, calling doctor tomorrow. Cut grass; took Dwyane, Bruce for lawn mower rides. Mouse in pantry driving dogs, cats crazy; set traps.
Hauled 20 bags of trash! Took all kids, they love going! Pinewood Derby Races. Dillan placed 4th, 2nd, 4th and was finished. Never mind outcome, he still had fun, got a ribbon. Ashley felt sick, had fever all day. I cooked out. Kids played outside most of day. Baths. Filed Read more…
Got Dillan’s Scout vest, it’s awesome! Cleaned house for Stephanie and Amber’s visit. Ate pizza out on deck. Stephanie arrived; took pictures for dad; we talked in-depth about kids, dad, mom self-terminating, PAVA, adopting. Amber late, she cut her visit short. Bio-mom’s 25th BD.
Saw pulmonologist this AM; 8 tests, 5 twice (after respirator with medicine), 13 tests total; will call with results. Dwyane field trip to Williams Dam, Wendy’s for Frosty and fries. I took Dillan to Dunham’s, bought him a baseball glove, had his 1st T-ball practice, he did good!
