Review Hearing in Shoals, report devastating against Nicolle. Told her attorney Isha Wright-Ryan she’s interested in self-termination and PAVA. Meeting Tuesday with Guardian Ad Litem Sandra Bowman to discuss details of agreement. Lesa and I debating pros/cons. Guarded excitement!
Worked until 4p. Picked up kids. Dillan and Ashley misbehaved at Imagination Station, not sure what to do about them. Picked up Lesa. Went to book fair at Parkview, met Dwyane’s librarian, he showed us his room. Went to Golden Corral, kid’s night, got stuffed. Home, showers, bed.
Worked over again! Rushed to get kids, ate supper, headed to old Springville gymnasium for Pinewood Derby weigh-in / trial runs; took Ashley, Dwyane with. Added weights to car, it took 1st place first run! Overall, his car is somewhere in-between competition; he’s really excited!
Church, Dillan acted up again, substitute Sunday School teacher, he took advantage, disrupted class, etc. Rained, kids stuck inside, watched TV. Sanded, painted Pinewood Derby car; Dillan mostly interested in TV, playing. Lesa thought kids acted okay, I thought they acted poorly.
Atwater eye appointment; eye drop script. Donuts! Bought Scout vest, patches being sewn. Kids played outside. Cooked out salmon. Bruce flushed toys down toilet, clogged, overflowed; removed toilet/toys; trip to Lowe’s; took Dillan, Ashley, Dwyane; finished toilet. Baths, TV, bed.
Ashley WonderLab field trip, thrilled about brown bag lunch, we left her notes. Mrs. Dillman PM-ed me a photo of Ashley digging for dinosaur bones. Took Dillan to IU ballgame, he had good time despite crazy weather: rain, hail, snow, sunshine! Final IU 10-9. Little Caesars pizza.
Another 9.5 hr day, leaving work at 1:30pm tomorrow to take Dillan to IU/Purdue ballgame! Bought tickets today, he’s excited, Ashley is jealous. Taking him out of school 1/2 hour early. Not much happened today; normal work, school, daycare day. Rainy and cold, kids stayed inside.
Dillan and Ashley IEPs, interesting conversations. IU-Purdue baseball game / Scout event rescheduled 2 hours earlier, might not be able to go. My 2nd CT scan after work, Lesa picked up kids, I drove long way home through country. Stormed, power went out, power back 2 hours later.
Last 2 days busy, worked 9.5 hrs each, getting tired. Dillan and Ashley IEPs, 2nd CT scan tomorrow. Nippy but nice, kids able to play outside. Not much homework. Bruce acted up, other kids did better. Lesa said Dillan got into reading assignment about parents going out to dinner.
Lesa stayed home, got kids’ summer clothing out, cleaned. Dillan told to sit down by teacher. He refused. Told to write “I will listen to the teacher.” He refused, crumpled paper, and broke the pencil. Made him write the same sentence instead of going to Scouts as his punishment.
