Much better day! Dwyane super proud of new Paw Patrol backpack. Annetta Starr dressed in Easter Bunny outfit when I picked kids up from daycare, Bruce afraid of big characters, won’t go near! Rained off-and-on, kids stuck inside. Dillan tried to be loving, I can tell it’s forced.
Kids on my nerves again! Dwyane field trip to park. Daycare asked me to talk to Ashley: bullying a boy; throwing rocks, cedar chips. Had talk, no desert. Bruce choked at supper, almost had to intervene. Dwyane bit Bruce, drew blood. Never thought I’d say Dillan behaving the best.
Visited Gordon Anderson in hospital, he had heart attack yesterday. Lesa picked up Dwyane for his WIC exam, had pizza since they got home late. Ashley razzed Dillan ALL day over peeing himself, Dillan tried getting even ALL day, finally sent them both to bed early, drove me nuts!
First day after break, everyone tired, us included. Nicer day than yesterday, kids played outside. Scouts, ate early, took Dwyane instead of Ashley, she whined. Worked on belt loops; hiking, conservation (picked up trash). Dillan peed himself on playground, Dwyane had great time!
First day of Spring! Serving deacon at church. Home, lunch, naps; Lesa to Walmart for Easter stuff. Kids played outside, cold, in-and-out. A Bug’s Life and The Jungle Book movies. Fried chicken supper – so good no leftovers. Spring Break over; back to work, daycare, school in AM.
Amber visit; kids like her. Rained overnight. Played outside all morning anyway. Lunch then naps. Something new, veggies for snacks, a hit. Played outside on-and-off to match rain. Lesa played games with them, I made Ashley a tent. Supper, baths, watched TV, ate popcorn, bedtime.
Took tour of Exotic Feline Rescue Center. Drove by Clayshire Castle just to look. Burger King lunch in Spencer. Grocery shopping at Bloomington Kroger. Kids bought toys with Easter money from Lesa’s mom. Pizza! Tilled garden more, every kid took a turn. Kids played outside a lot!
We tried sleeping in but denied! It was clear day so kids played outside almost all day. Got riding cars out of shed, put on chargers. Started mowers and tiller, did first till of garden, Dillan helped. Went to Ray and Michelle Hausler’s for dinner, good time! Nice laid back Read more…
Another nice day, cooler. Dwyane, Bruce had field trip to Jessica Smith’s grandpa’s farm; tromped around, looked at animals, got muddy. Big kids wanted to go but didn’t get to. All the kids played outside. Got muddy some more. Baths before picking Lesa up. Long drive, long night!
Kids wouldn’t listen, yelled lots, just plain psycho! Attorney emailed, my basic reply: We’re frustrated! At work, Ron and JB in town, got a free lunch. Great day! Dry, in 70s, kids played outside. Fixed pancakes/waffles. Saw Jym, Cari Littrell at Jiffy Treat. Facetime with Lesa.
