Friday! Misty Kelsey busted for DUI. Feel sorry for her but not. Got off work at 1:45p! Cleaned our bedroom closet, went through my clothes, vacuumed house, picked up kids. They spent afternoon outside playing. Pizza! Colored, played game with kids. Amber very late for her visit.
Toasted bagels with cream cheese breakfast, kids loved them, change in routine slowed everything down, almost late to daycare. Worked 9 hours putting me a couple ahead for week. Helped Ashley with homework, Lesa helped Dillan with his: reading, math, spelling. Baths for all kids.
I’m MS-tired. Dillan’s teacher sent message scolding me for letting Dillan use computer to do math. After explaining he used brain for homework and only doing extra flash card math she thanked me. More homework tonight, Ashley too. We played Sum Swamp game with Dillan and Ashley.
Ran late this morning. Rained / stormed all day, snow forecast tonight. Dillan struggling with homework again; helped him with math, found online addition flash card game. He can’t add single digit numbers but class way beyond that skill level. Ashley read 2nd grade book to Lesa!
Ugh, back to work. Everyone rested, starting week off right. Nice day, kids wanted to go outside. Dillan had math homework, Ashley had make-up papers because of speech. Helped Dillan do math; he needs flash cards, lots of work! Cub Scouts, Dillan earned 2 belt loops; took Ashley.
Church, Lesa deaconess duties, myself Junior Church. Beautiful day! Kids played outside a lot. Dillan and Ashley cleaned while little kids napped. Fries came over for dinner, had a pleasant evening. Lesa at church so bathed little kids, read to them during big kid baths. Bedtime.
Slept in until 9 am! Last day of ice skating, Bruce skated on own, awesome! Subway for lunch. Got all kids haircuts at Great Clips, Ashley only trimmed, Bruce sat by himself! Played outside. Ashley talking back a lot. We want to keep them but second guessing if we’re what’s Read more…
Friday! Bruce ran, fell into cubicle at daycare, cut forehead. After work bought Mother-Son Bowling tickets for Lesa and Dillan, got KD cat food, picked up kids, ordered pizza. Bedford Library for “The Good Dinosaur” movie with Dillan, Ashley, Dwyane. Lesa stayed home with Bruce.
Good on time all week; everyone tired though. Roads fine, yard snow-covered, slick. Dillan had tons of homework, thankfully Lesa has patience to help him. I helped Ashley who had fair amount but not like Dillan. Big kids wanted showers instead of baths. Still sick, hanging tough.
Left early, picked up Father-Daughter Dance pictures, turned out good. Rained, sleeted, snowed all day. Lots of flooding, 2 inches snow expected. Kids hyper, difficult getting them to focus on homework, getting ready for bed. I’m this side of being really sick, most likely strep.
