Had to ask what day it was; yeah, I’m that tired. I did homework with Dillan. Kids played on trampoline with new neighbors until supper. Bruiser blocking route home and I had to go get them. Kids behaving pretty well, Dillan definitely trying to please, Ashley pushing boundaries.
Started day frustrated, ending same. Parent teacher conference with Dillan’s teacher went as expected; Dillan needs one-on-one help, tutoring, maybe testing. Set reading/math goals. Pulled over doing 56 in a 35 – verbal warning to slow down! Homework. Scouts. Ashley class snacks.

Ice skating, one week left, Dillan/Ashley advance, Dwyane maybe, Bruce no. Then CVS, Dollar General for batteries. Lesa to Walmart for diapers, Ashley clothes/shoes. 65°, kids played outside, rode bikes, RC truck, had fun. Bluegrass, danced with Bruce. Grilled salmon. A good day.
Friday! After work cleaned house, got pizzas from Springville store. Amber babysitting kids so we can have a date night. Been an entire year since we had dinner alone, ate Mexican. Stephanie showed up unannounced, scared us to death; Amber knew she was coming; bizarre. Nikki MIA.
Normal day at work. Warm day for February! Drove home with windows down. Kids played outside without coats. Got their shoes, clothes, bodies, hair, and our house muddy; mud everywhere! Baths of course, did laundry afterwards. Played Wii. Ashley cleaned room, found long lost toys!
Nice day out today, upper 30s; kids had too much homework to play outside though. Dillan’s teacher Chelsea Wronowicz texted me wanting to have a sit-down to discuss his 2nd grade future; first grade present not going so well so we need to set some goals for him. He wants Read more…

Snow make-up day, canceled due to snow, ironic, kids ecstatic. Worried daycare might close, they didn’t, Dwyane’s toe cut and bandaged – no explanation given. All kids played outside, played with neighbors too, seemed like they had fun. I swept snow off grill and barbecued brats!
Valentine’s Day! Bruce hit Ashley in face with Lego box causing nose bleed, ruined clothes, being late to church. Lots of snow! I sledded with Dillan and Dwyane. Played Wii with ALL the kids, they absolutely loved it! After supper we watched Frozen for about 100th time. Good day.
