Donuts with Dillan. Atwater for his eye exam, 20/20 right eye, 20/25 left eye, improvement! CVS to get Lesa Valentine stuff, Dillan chose. We picked everyone else up, headed back to Bloomington for ice skating. Horrible, horrible kids today! No one to watch them so no dinner out.
Friday! Dillan and Ashley school Valentine parties, Ashley very excited from cards and candy. Big kids played outside until supper. Pizza! All kids played afterward, Lesa joined them. Kids got a little wild so calmed them down with some TV. Got everyone to bed at reasonable time.
Bruce and Dwyane Valentine’s Day party at daycare, Dwyane had another at preschool. Rough day at work, didn’t feel well. Warm enough for kids to play outside; didn’t stay out for long. Bruce stole entire loaf of bread, hid in bedroom, ate it with Dwyane’s help! Homework, reading.
Snow, not enough to sled, cold, 2-hr school delay. Wheel or diff bearing noise from RF of Suburban. Work okay, having trouble focusing. Neck/shoulders stiff, plus headache from yesterday’s fall. Worked with Dillan on homework, he resisted at first, but complied and did good work.
Snow dusting, kids disappointed. I slipped and fell really hard; bad, bad, bad! Soup pitch-in at work, my new Dell PC arrived! Kids really wound up for some reason. I made pancakes while Lesa helped Dillan do homework. Bruce flung soiled diaper all about the house; bad, bad, bad!
At work I trashed entire CRON directory, sat in on OTT conference call, Todd notified of tax fraud identity theft. Rain, sleet, ice, snow mix up to 3 inches overnight. Dillan hurt Ashley’s finger. Scouts, cut pinewood derby car. Ashley perfect midterm; Dillan in academic trouble.
Partition ripped off men’s restroom wall during foster training! Family Sunday church, Lesa has serving deaconess evening duties. Kids played outside. Lesa, Ashley made cookies! I read “Go, Dogs, Go” to little kids, “The Giving Tree” to big kids. Denver Broncos won Super Bowl 50.
Church at 8:00a, old church locked, no nursery items. Set up audio/video system and projector; good to go. Foster trained 6 hrs, great lunch! Car seat training informative. Walmart for diapers, saw Beth Walker, nice talk. Kids played outside. After supper big kids did Valentines.
Kids said Fancy Nancy day was fun. Helped Ashley into her dress, put Elsa braid in. Helped Lesa with groceries. I took Ashley to Wendy’s, then 1st Baptist in Bedford for Father/Daughter dance. After pictures, we danced! Ashley said it was the best day ever! Lesa stayed with boys.
An ordinary day; colder, but sunny. Last night about 2:00a Ashley woke up, called for Lesa, said she felt sick but didn’t get sick, fell back asleep, and said she was fine this morning. Dillan got speech evaluation that indicated he improved; we tend to agree. A pleasant evening.
