Lesa took Dillan to doctor for follow-up on bed wetting, he advised medication/alarm. Kids running in house after supper; Bruce face-planted, had nose bleed. Ashley decorated school Valentine bag. Dillan math homework, spelling words, writing homework, writing again – too sloppy.
Smooth morning. Trouble staying alert at work, I’m so tired! Lesa got kids. Doctor said she’s concerned, wants me to go to pulmonologist for pulmonary function test, bronchoscopy with bronchoalveolar lavage, and biopsy. Joy, joy. Gave Lesa a break, went to Asian Pearl for dinner.
Almost late this AM, everyone tired. Called doctor, appt tomorrow, won’t schedule CT scan ’til Mar 2. Foster training at C3 almost canceled due to Linda Chamber’s showing, spent day salvaging. Got tickets for Father/Daughter Dance this Friday. Kids played outside. Lesa home late.
Church/Jr. Church. Met Brian Gainey for foster training trial run. Put rear brakes on Lesa’s Jeep; Dillan helped by fetching things; let him take loosened lug nuts off; what matters is he got dirty! Ashley, Dillan had fun playing with new kids down the street on their trampoline!
I slept until 8a! Breakfast, got kids ready, went ice skating; Dwyane had meltdowns. Drove to Indy, Southport Steak ‘n’ Shake, Lucas Oil Staudium for Monster Jam 2016 with Dillan and Ashley! Had a super good time! Junkyard Dawg Ashley’s favorite, Grave Digger Dillan’s. Home late!
Friday! Off at normal time; like playing hooky. Kids asked why I was early told them I was on time! Missing chicken came home. Dillan played with neighbors; Ashley, Dwyane, Bruce and me played Picture Bingo. Turned TV off, major meltdowns, they got over it. Pizza! Fixed icemaker!
Long work day, I’m caught up! No incidents at school, daycare! Bruce banged head on Ashley’s bed; gave himself goose egg on forehead. Dillan couldn’t/wouldn’t focus on reading homework; gave up on it. Thinking about taking Ashley to a Father-Daughter Dance in Bedford on Feb. 5th.
Tooth fairy visited! 9.5 hour workday. Daycare 201% fee increase; Bruce bit on right arm, Ashley slammed some kid’s fingers in door. Ashley doing well, full day of school, soft food for supper, milking for attention. Worked lots with Dillan and Ashley on homework; read two books.
Lesa took Ashley out of school to have tooth pulled. Used gas on her. I took her home from dentist. Ate soup on TV trays, watched TV, napped, then Wendy’s for half-and-half Frosty. Back home we watched movies until Lesa and boys got home. She did super! Tooth fairy visit Read more…
Couldn’t change Ashley’s dentist appointment. Worked over, Lesa picked up kids. Pack meeting, whole family went. Dillan earned Backyard Jungle, Games Tigers Play belt loops; bowling, Christmas caroling, popcorn sales patches; got a remote-control Corvette for popcorn sales prize.
