Christmas! On this day Jesus was born! Moved computer hutch out of Ashley’s room (my ex-office). All-in-all, I stayed stress-free and just enjoyed the day; it could be my last Christmas. Toys are everywhere, house a disaster; but who cares? The kids had such an unforgettable day!
Christmas Eve! Lunch with Marcy Cook at Yoho General Store. Handmade gifts for kids! Gifts for us too! Kids napped! Pizza! Solsberry CC Candlelight Service; kids bored; we enjoyed. Opened Amber’s gifts; nice of her! Set out cookies and milk for Santa. Late bedtime! Santa visited!
Christmas Break started; kids at daycare all day; they had fun. Using last PTO day tomorrow so I can stay home with Lesa and kids on Christmas Eve. Paul and Andrea Fries visited bringing gifts of baked goods! Cookies, fudge, breads; gave the kids a DVD also. Kids excited as Read more…
Pajama day at school. Fun day for kids. Polar Express and Grinch movies, popcorn, hot chocolate, slippers, blankets, etc. Last day of semester; Christmas Break begins tomorrow. We have some very excited kids. Watched more Christmas shows after supper. Everyone got baths. Bedtime!
Got to daycare and Dillan barfed on floor; took him back home. Lesa took him to school; he was okay. Christmas parties today; she went to Dwyane’s party at Parkview. I went to CFTM at Hulsey house in Washington; kids should not wind up here! Amber visited. Scouts, and derby Read more…
C3 Christmas program: Ashley only one that sang, kept looking at us; Dwyane kept hands in his pockets; Bruce picked his nose; Dillan got squirrelly. Kids really excited, getting into Christmas! Lots of hitting, timeouts. Weather warm; kids played outside a lot. Difficult bedtime.
Dillan’s eye appointment at 8:00a; eye worse, looks over glasses instead of through. Got donuts, then tires for Lesa’s Jeep. Went home and picked up Ashley; hauled trash; went Christmas caroling at StoneBridge, bowling at Kingpin, and to Wendy’s for Frosties. A good but busy day!
Normal day, got off work on time, felt halfway decent. Lesa got home late so we had pizza again. Hey, it’s Friday, it’s pizza, it’s all good! Kids stayed up later than usual. We watched Christmas shows. Bruce and Dwyane were afraid of the Bumble on Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer.
Springville water out for over 24 hours; have lots of clean water. Ashley called: she knows phone number! Bruce WIC. Pizza! Getting support for yesterday; people shocked; prayers we don’t mourn losing kids – kids don’t mourn losing us. Trying to remember God is good all the time!
Left work for court. Judge ordered DCS to start over: reunification, visits, new Disposition Hearing in January. Guardian ad Litem told court she’s filing separate termination for 15 of 22 months out of home. Kids in limbo, maybe worse. Stephanie to take kids for new psych evals.
