Church. Drove newly completed I-69 for first time from Cincinnati to Bloomington. Walmart: bought shoes and boots for kids. Steak ‘n’ Shake for lunch. Naps, kids played outside, supper, some TV. Been a really rough weekend; kids have been really worked up; and we’re really tired!
Amber visited; brought Rocky, a foster kid she was respiting; showed up an hour late, lost keys. Ashley wrecked Dwyane on swing; I yelled at her in front of Amber. Crap! That didn’t look good! Declined Jumpin’ Joey’s BD party due to a dinner invite, dinner cancelled too. Oh well.
Friday! Got off normal time; first time in weeks. Got home in decent time; kids able to play with neighbor kids until dark. Ate pizza – everyone’s favorite! Took kids to see really cool Christmas light display, synced with Christmas music, in Springville. Kids danced, sang along.

Made gingerbread house with Ashley at her school. Life’s short so spent time with her: watched Barbie movie, went to Wendy’s for lunch. Dwyane’s school called; said he didn’t make it in; after my heart attack learned it was wrong child! Still sick from medicine; coughing up crap.
Got my results from CT scan: mass lower right lung; in God’s hands now; heavy-duty antibiotics made me sick all day. Working late all week so I can make gingerbread house with Ashley at school tomorrow. Went to Scouts; Dillan played a game he liked a lot; he has a Read more…
Family Sunday! Lesa and Ashley went to “The Nutcracker” at IU! So jealous! I wanted to take her; it was my idea! Took boys to McDonald’s; stayed home with them: an exercise in patience. Let Dillan skip nap, play with neighbors. Watched Spider-Man. Ashley had case of the specials.
