Up early for Santa Train in Solsberry. Kids enjoyed the characters. Dillan asked for an ATV AND dirt bike, Ashley for an iPad, Dwyane for a present, and Bruce for a candy cane. Saw Kathy Mitchell. Hot chocolate! Kids bundled up, played with neighbors. Supper, TV, baths, bedtime!

CASA didn’t make it; texted she’s thinking of termination herself! We’re thinking contested adoption too and are going to contact our attorney and Cook’s soon. Kids misbehaving a little; probably tired from long weekend, waiting for new weekend, and have Christmas on their minds.
Review Hearing; DCS messed up; judge didn’t sign Disposition Order. Options: 1) try to terminate without it; 2) judge sign it, roll everything back to March 2014, and start over. CASA coming tomorrow to discuss situation with us. Contested adoption? My class hosted C3 meal. Snow.
Lab work; took lots of vials plus urine sample. CT scan this afternoon was over quickly; now it’s a waiting game. Worked late yesterday and tonight to make up missed work time. Progress Hearing is tomorrow so more time away to make up. Kids not quite back in the groove Read more…
Back to work and school; everyone tired and cranky. Went to doctor this AM for complete physical; the “C” word got tossed about; I’m scheduled for lab work and CT scan tomorrow. Leaving it in God’s hands. Dillan struggled with math homework; whined about it; finally completed it.
