Off work early, picked up kids, went to park. Played more at home. Dinner at Asian Pearl (kids’ favorite). Back home, watched TV before bed.
Late to daycare: Bruce blowout. Late picking up: parent/teacher conferences. Ashley doing good; Dillan and Dwyane doing okay, but improving.
Bruce’s butt raw again; happening since Amber Keen left; I had angry words for staff. Big kids played with neighbors; baths for little kids.
Ashley’s Humpty Dumpty moved; don’t know why; talking? Kids played with neighbors; Dillan played instead of doing homework. Kids being kids.
Daycare on time. Got home, kids were fired up. Dillan had a good time at Scouts; learned about paw prints and camping; called me Daddy lots!
Church. Lunch. Naps. Grilled brats and hot dogs for supper. Dillan likes caramelized onions. Kids fell asleep snuggled with me on the couch.
Amber Malay visited. Loaded, hauled trash. Walmart, Lowe’s, Wendy’s. Sold Scout popcorn at Dollar General, $213, Dillan says we’re partners.
Friday pizza! Kids played all evening; got to stay up later than usual. Lesa really enjoyed playing with kids. Organized some photos/videos.
Worked 10 hours again, tired; kids tired too, can’t wait for weekend. Dillan pushing for dirt bike. Ashley first to know alphabet at school!
Fact Finding Day 3, finally over, beyond drained. Bad day for mom. Pray God judge has wisdom; we’re worthy/able to adopt. Kids know nothing.
