Hid baskets last night. Got up at 7:30a, kids had already found their baskets but it was a challenge finding them. Missed it! Ate breakfast with Dwyane and Ashley, Bruce and Dillan already finished, preloaded videos, and took a shower. Came back out from my shower and Lesa had already started the kids’ Sunday School lessons without me and that angered me. Started the Sunrise Easter Service from church on Facebook, previously recorded and noticed they were broadcasting the drive-in Easter service live so we watched that instead – different. We talked about going for just a few seconds and we were both of a mind to just stay home and not risk the kids. After the drive-in live-stream we watched the Sunrise service, it was basically different people reading parts of Scripture and giving a devotional on it, fairly short. Corbin was supposed to call Bruce at 1p, and when he didn’t, I helped Bruce call him, Bruce was pretty excited and they talked for awhile, they are planning a sleepover once the Coronavirus blows over. Kids played outside even though it was colder out but they didn’t seem to mind too much.
We took away the kids’ Legos and magnetic blocks, they wouldn’t stop fighting over them and we simply got tired of it, so we took them away. Yet to be seen whether they ever get them back again, Dillan took it really hard. Lesa fixed a really nice chicken dinner, dressing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and glazed carrots. She had to make her own minced onions due to shortages but in my opinion they tasted better than the canned stuff you get from the store. Watched some TV to calm kids down from their all-day sugar high selves and finally got them into bed.
