Woke up determined to do some work around the place. Things that need fixed: water pump on truck, dryer, outside faucet, tiller, backdoor, and probably a few other things. Also need to haul trash, build a chicken coop, build a new rabbit hutch, till a garden, and cut the grass. Lots to do. Started getting trash together and Lesa was doing laundry, the dryer was making a gigantic racket so I dug in. Took it apart and figured out what was wrong, motor brackets we cracked in 3 different places, and the motor was literally beating itself apart, there was no fixing that! Crap, showed Lesa why it wasn’t repairable and told her we had a stimulus check I just put into savings so get online and order a new washer and dryer set from Lowe’s and I’d pick it up – easy come, easy go. She opted to just get an old-fashioned dryer that will last 20 years, she’s keeping her washer. Ashley and I went to Lowe’s pick-up and didn’t even have to go in, just waited while they brought it out to us. Stopped at Wendy’s for Frosties of course. Got the dryer hooked up and running before dinner, but I was wiped, my hands hurt, and my back hurts from moving the old one out and the new one in. While I was messing with the dryer all day Lesa and the kids made a new walking trail in our woods, cleared a pathway, moved a gigantic log using teamwork, sounds like they had a lot of fun, Lesa has been doing a great job keeping their minds and bodies occupied. Didn’t get crap down the rest of the day. I did manage to help Ashley muck the rabbit hutch. I crashed on the couch right after eating, everything was sore, still is, especially hands. Did I say my hands really hurt? Anyway, Lesa and the kids got mail and they watched a movie. Ashley was going to sleep in her tent but came in fairly quickly. Dwyane made a house out of the dryer box, he fixed it up and is sleeping outside on the deck still, we both have checked on him and he’s snoring away and just fine.
