School practice again. Not as enthusiastic as yesterday. Got a call around 9a, results on COVID were negative! I came out and surprised Lesa with a hug, and the kids charged me and literally knocked me over onto the couch with hugs and kisses! It’s nice to be loved. Everyone was ecstatic I’m going to live and now the question is what the heck did I have to make me so sick? I let work know and said I could probably come in the next day or two and they all said no, stay home, and get 100%. Well, I’m far from that. Work just gave me 40 hours PTO to take so I don’t even have to use my PTO, it’s nice to have that kind of employer. Felt really weird being out of the bedroom and sitting at the dinner table during lunch and supper and on the couch with the kids and stuff, weird but very nice. Lesa is glad she gets to sleep in her own bed again too. I worked about 4 hours from home and then I called it a day. We called the school and let them know I tested negative so the kids could go back to school. The boys had their last game tonight and got their trophies, it was awesome that got to do that because we figured they’d be quarantined and not able. Spent the rest of the evening getting showers, book bags ready, water bottles and face masks, clothes picked out, etc. – school tomorrow! I’m not going to stay up too late because I don’t want to relapse like last time.
