First day of the new school year. Everyone but Dillan is ready! Even Dillan is a little bit ready. Got the kids up and dressed and ready, got some pictures at the house and busstop, and saw them off. They’re growing up fast and it’s kind of sad. Went to work, got all the way there, and realized I packed my Macbook’s power supply and stuff but left the Macbook sitting on the stand! Had to drive all the way home, get gas along the way, and barely got back in time for SCRUM. So, a late start to the work day for me when I was planning on getting off and going home at a decent hour. When I got home all the kids were excited and telling us about their day all through dinner and after. The kids had cross country practice at the high school so I took them, I ran about a mile in my run-walk-run-walk way while they practiced and my back is starting to hurt because of it. Finally, Ashley was horsing around with my phone and when I tried to get it from her she dropped it in the dogs’ water bowl and it started acting wonky. The screen when into a blue and green split screen state and the touch screen quit working so I could get on or even shut it off. Shook out the water I could and put it in a bowl of rice and will leave it overnight. Hopefully it’ll work again by tomorrow. I’m kind of mad because the accident could have been avoided, and I’m kind of not mad because it was an accident. Either way, I still love her!
