So we did church, both Sherwood Oaks and Cincinnati Christian, and by then it was getting close to lunch. I rearranged the living room to make space for a tree. I looked online for Christmas tree farms and there’s not much around this area so I texted Mike Prince to see if he was still selling trees and he is so we made a trip to Greene County Trees and picked us out a really nice tree. The kids ran around, petted the dogs, had hot chocolate and cookies, Lesa picked the tree, and I paid for it. Took some pics of the kids in the various props about the place, posted the one in the sleigh. Got home and I set the tree up, Lesa added water and we let it relax. I put some lights out on the deck and then put lights on the tree. All done with my part. The kids decorated the tree with all the keepsakes they’ve made over the years (8 now) and it makes my heart smile seeing all of them. We’ve come a very long way! Lesa decorated the house and in just one day the house looks like Christmas lives here. We watched television and enjoyed the lights. Feels like Christmas, and smells like it too, the tree smells great!
