Slept until 8am, surprised at that. Stopped by PO Box and picked up another letter from Daniel om my way to take the kids to get hair cuts at Fantastic Sams. The boys wanted their hair cut short so we did the #4 on top and #2 on side summer cut. Ashley wanted bangs, stylist checked and said it wouldn’t work very well, so she got her ends trimmed as originally planned. Then the stylist asked me if she could curl Ashley’s hair and of course I said sure, Ashley LOVED it, and asked me to post pictures on Facebook, so I did. Dillan and Dwyane didn’t want bangs on their cuts but Bruce did, he strutted out with head held high and chest stuck out and said “I look better than all of you!”, wish I had a picture of him! Someone unplugged the rabbit’s water bottle heater and it froze but they were okay. Went to Twin H Tree Farm just north of Harroldsburg and cut us a tree, the kids had a lot of fun running around, and Lesa and I achieved the desired outcome: “This is the best tree ever!” Spent the afternoon putting on lights and decorating. I went to a 4:00pm NLCS School Board meeting and afterward talked at length with Mrs Davis and Kim Thompson. Met up with Lesa, Dillan, and Ashley at 15th and ‘M’ streets in Bedford. The boys were in the Bedford Christmas Parade and I got to see them before the parade started. Of course we watched and cheered as their float went by us. Happened upon Cassie and Emma Tussey and naturally Ashley ran to Emma and they hugged so we sat next to them. The kids collected candy and had fun even though it was cold. Back home Lesa made everyone hot chocolate and a bit of dinner for me (the kids and her had something before the parade). Kids watched TV for an hour, took showers, and then it was bedtime. It was a busy day for all.
