We got up at a reasonable time. Lesa took Porter to the vet because her eye has been bothering her. The vet prescribed so eye drops. She has doggy pink eye, not supposed to be transmitted to humans but highly contagious to other dogs. Switzee has been rubbing her eyes as well so we think she may have it as well. We’ll put drops in both dogs’ eyes since we have enough. After lunch we all piled into the Nissan rental and took Bloom to Tammy Blunk’s for her first grooming, Tammy entertained the kids with a pinball machine and her and Lesa and later Ashley groomed Bloom, she got a bath, a blow dry, a brushing, her nails clipped, the whole nine yards. Lesa bought her a thank you card and added some money but she wouldn’t have any of it, said Bloom gets groomed for free for life, either Tammy’s or Bloom’s. She’s a good friend to Lesa. We got home mid-afternoon and I dropped Lesa and puppy off and me and the kids went Valentine’s Day shopping for Lesa. Started at the Fayetteville Dollar General and found cards there. The boys and Ashley argued over which card to get, Ashley’s had a nice sentiment, the boys’ had a puppy on front. I interceded and picked the nice sentiment. Nothing wrong with a nice puppy but the other was for “Mom” and actually said something.. I looked for Truffles and didn’t find any. Got some candy for the kids and we went to CVS to get the candy I wanted. They had multiple types and price ranges on Truffles so I got her some. Then we headed to Rural King and got some puppy pads and a couple of other things, and as we were leaving Lesa said she needed some stuff so we stopped for that. Finally, on the way home we stopped and got some KFC and brought it home for supper. We went through an entire bucket of chicken, the largest they had. The kids are starting to eat a lot. After dinner it was shower or bath time, the boys took a bath together, and Ashley had a shower after, Dillan will be tomorrow like usual.
