Got up early this morning, Bloom was barking at the other dogs trying to get them to play. Got up, Dillan and Ashley still in bed but Dwyane and Bruce were up. Dwyane fixed lesa breakfast, Lesa fixed Dwyane, Bruce and my breakfast. Dwyane had one of his puzzles he wanted to put together so him and me started putting it together. Bruce joined in but started chores to earn tablet time. Dillan woke up, ate breakfast and started helping as well. Ashley finally woke up and wanted to help but the boys objected, she wound up helping anyway. We finished the puzzle pretty quickly. Then I got on a cleaning kick! Planned this yesterday. Started by having the kids pick all their crap up from the floor, then we vacuumed, then I used the carpet washer/cleaner and did most of the living room floor and hallways – that took a long time. Dwyane cleaned and swept the kitchen, Bruce took out the trash, Dillan vacuumed their and our room, Dwyane vacuumed out bathroom, Ashley mopped the kitchen and their bathroom, and Bruce picked up the shoes and coats. By the time we finished the placed looked halfway decent. Lesa was amazed and shocked, she didn’t have to do anything. We missed having a church service. After lunch I took Bruce and Ashley to Bloomington with me, Dillan and Dwyane wanted to stay and play on their tablets. I took my phone to Best Buys and I dropped off my phone so they could replace the battery. Then we took cookies to Sonja Stotler. Next we took cookies to Kathy Mitchell, her kids are growing up just like ours, the kids played with her cats, we chatted a bit but have nothing much in common so it seemed a little awkward. Then we got some groceries Lesa needed from Krogers and I filled the tank, and then I got the kids Frosties. Back to Best Buys to wait, and wait, and wait. Saw Todd Davidson and we talked to him a few minutes. Went inside Best Buy and the kids played on phones. After still no call I went to the service desk and asked and my phone was ready but not the paperwork so they finished and we got out of there. Lesa didn’t know what to fix for supper so I suggested she fix Casa Brave – just call and I’d get it on the way home. So she did, and I did, and we ate Mexican, and it was good. We watched Terminator 3 on TV then sent the kids to bed, they had a hard time getting to sleep but they did.
