Same ole, same ole. Work and virtual, work and virtual. Got my results back from my Scientia exposure, I’m negative. We think if we can get Ashley tested tomorrow it’ll be the 5-7 day period and if negative then that would mean none of us would be positive and the kids can go to school Monday the 18th. Issue with her being a minor so I call the doctor and 10 and over can be tested. Lesa surprised everyone when she came out of her work space and said she wanted to get another puppy so we did a quick search and inquired about a couple puppies we were interested in. The boys were riding bikes and Dwyane came in and said his leg hurt, Lesa looked at it and then called me in. I looked at it and it looked like a small diameter of PVC pipe was under the skin on the back of his leg. Dwyane said it hurt to straighten his leg but not so much if he kept it bent. Said he was riding his bike, got off, took a couple of steps and it started to hurt. I did a virtual visit with pictures and they said it looked like a ruptured tendon and we should take him to the ER as soon as possible. So, that’s what I did. They did x-rays on it and didn’t find any fractures and said to elevate, rest, and ice and follow up if it persists. Dwyane was telling the nurses it has been eight years and several months since he’s been in the hospital and this was his first time. Told me he loved me a thousand times and held my hand almost the entire time. He was texting lesa on my phone when he decided he had to see her and FaceTimed her instead. Told her he really loved her as well. I took him to get a Frosty of course and let him play on my phone on the way home. We got home in time for Lesa to be able to get groceries from Walmart without having to drag the other kids along with. She stopped by Dollar General and got some poster board for Ashley’s school project too. Kids watched TV and then it was bedtime.
