Lesa and I worked all day, me until 6, and I’m sort of working still. Ashley told her teacher Ms Jeskewich she took a COVID test and the teacher said it wouldn’t matter so I called the nurse and left a message to find out. The nurse called back and Ashley won’t be allowed to return until her full quarantine time has elapsed but the boys can go to school starting Monday. That’s a plus at least. Ashley is bummed though but not alone. Two of the other basketball players are in her class and in the same boat as her. Bruce didn’t have a lot to do and he still didn’t want to do it. Ashley finished her Mr Terupt character sketch of Jessica project. I had a heck of a time sending the pics. Dillan actually picked up his baritone horn but only did key work, no playing. Dwyane lied about being finished and Lesa called him on it. Pizza and a movie night, watched the Matrix, Ashley was grossed out at first but then decided she liked it and the kids were pretty much on the edge of their seats the entire movie, Bruce was nearly in my lap. They want to see the other Matrix movies now. After 8 years, Ashley told me she doesn’t want to have our Friday night sniggle time anymore – she would rather read her Kindle. Sheesh, that hurts. She told me I’ll get over it. It’s snowing big snowflakes, wondering if it’ll stick. So I’m out here working and updating my status.
