Up at 6am, sucked worst than it sounds. Got kids ready, had Dwyane ready too although he complained of a headache, gave him so Ibuprofen and his face was swollen. I told Lesa it was the bruising dropping down into his face and he’s just nervous about going to school. I got the kids loaded in the truck to go to the bus stop and he was crying and saying it really hurt, crying more than when he actually got hurt, so I took him back inside and told Lesa to call the doctor and I’d take him in. Took Dillan and Bruce to the bus stop because Ashley is still in quarantine. We iced Dwyane’s face and the Ibuprofen kicked in because he started to feel better and the swelling went down. I had lab work to check for elevated PSA due to the colon cancer scare a while back. When I got back I took Dwyane to the doctor and they agreed it was the normal course of things, the nurse practitioner did called in the doctor though just to be sure. Got him another Frosty. Lesa took Ashley to school and Lesa went in and picked up homework packets for Ashley and Dwyane. I picked up Dillan and Bruce from the bus stop. The kids did homework the rest of the afternoon. Had Bible study and television in the evening.
