Got a call at 5a saying the school was closed for today, not even virtual. We slept in an extra hour and basically we did get to sleep without much interruption, unfortunately not so for Ashley, she was dog tired – pardon the pun. She got what she wanted and we warned her. Ashley has been very possessive of the dog, carrying it around everywhere, not letting the boys play or pet her, even lesa and me. She says Bloom likes her the most and she’s her dog and we keep saying Bloom is a family dog. Was working and my Internet went down, I couldn’t connect, and it wound up being a dongle of all things. Not sure I understand why but it’s true. Didn’t get a whole lot done as a result. The kids played outside in the snow a lot, even Ashley. The boys even went back out after dinner. Ashley hogged the dog most of the day though. Lesa was a little stressed. She was trying to work too. I was already on the phone but my mom called earlier and talked to Lesa, sounds like everything and everyone is doing okay. Ashley was exhausted and fell asleep immediately, boys were pretty worn out too. Fresh air helps with that. Lesa has been hacking and coughing for a few days now and it seems to be getting worse. Bloom and Switzee finally played together tonight, chased each other in the snow, Porter still not interested. It’s been five days and bloom is coming into her own, she has claimed us and the house and it’s nice to have a family dog instead of a Lesa dog.
