Today we rested and tried to recoup our energy and prepare ourselves mentally for virtual school starting back up tomorrow and for going back to work after a long weekend. We laid around most of the morning, we did watch Cincinnati Christian Church for our church service. On Friday me and the kids agreed Lesa needed a day off so I cooked breakfast (eggs), lunch (tomato/potato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches), and dinner (piggy pancakes) and also did the laundry; Dillan, Ashley, and myself did dishes. I also took the kids with me to Scientia where I helped one of my co-workers work on his car, I back flushed his heater core and got a ton of junk out of it so he could have heat again. The kids ran around while I worked on his car. Got home in perfect time to start the pancakes. The kids played while I cooked, I really don’t know what all Lesa did today but she didn’t have to do her normal work. After dinner the kids played a game of Twister until things degenerated in chaos with injuries forthcoming. I called the game for them. Watched about an hour of TV before sending the kids off to bed early – they have school tomorrow.
