Dillan woke us shortly after 2:00am and told us Bruce was screaming and crying. Turns out he was running a pretty high fever of 102.9°F. He’s sick! Gave him some Ibuprofen to help him out. Wound up spending the night with him on the couch. Lesa HAD to be at work since all the students returned today so I was the lucky person to stay home with him. We watched movies and cat-napped. His fever would drop, then spike, over and over again. About 2:00pm, school called and asked us to come get Ashley, she was sick and running a 101.4 fever. No cheerleader practice or game for her tomorrow. Picked up boys from school. Lesa stopped by grocery store to get extra crackers, Ibuprofen, etc. Went to School Board meeting, they voted to close Springville. Two children very sick, two oblivious to it, and two adults very much worried and tired and wondering when our turn is. It was a miserable day in every sense of the word.
