I got up, and yes, I took Ashley to church – on the condition she had to sit with me during service. I didn’t want to take her and have her run off with friends and leave me sitting alone. She was good to her word. Got home, and Lesa and the boys were off to Bloomington, to play laser tag! Ashley was upset they could go to play laser tag but not church. She was also upset they were going to get to eat out. She was even more upset they got to do something special and she didn’t. I tried to explain they got to play laser tag because her and I had a special time at Father Daughter Dance and we did this every year. We fought. I was going to take her to Taco Bell but didn’t. Instead, I left her at home and went to Bloomington myself to Rural King and bought some drill bits so I could replace the ones the kids seem to have lost. I need drill bits because Bruce and Dwyane were playing hide and seek and one of them hid in our closet, and then decided to hang off out closet shelves and they cam crashing down and I need to repair them and the drywall. So, I started fixing the shelves and got a text from Lesa saying she was taking the boys for ice cream so I offered to take Ashley to Dairy Queen and so suddenly we’re friends again. I did enjoy having a treat with her. We got home and Lesa and the boys were back, and after supper we headed to the last D-Group of this session. It was mostly a success I think in that we built relationships with some of the youth which is what we were trying to accomplish to begin with. We watched TV after church, had some snacks, boys went to bed, Ashley went to bed, Lesa went to bed, and I fell asleep on the couch. Woke up at 2:40a to sirens and Dillan was still up watching one of the Fast and Furious movies. I shut that down, sent him to bed, and went to bed myself. Got up in time to see Lesa off to work, have done some work myself, and should be working now! Goodbye.
