I worked from home today, got up shortly after Lesa and started working while kids were asleep. Bruce got up arpound 9, Dwyane 9:30, I woke Dillan and Ashley up at 10. It was a pretty easy day, no running around and not a lot of trouble from them. I let them watch TV while I worked but made them turn it off at 11. I heated up leftover Indian food and not sure what the kids had – they each fixed their own. I made the kids do their chores before getting tablet time. They didn’t really appreciate that. There was a lot of under breath mumbling, sighs, and even some foot stomping; and not just from Bruce either, big kids were upset too. Fairly quiet afternoon and I got a lot of work done. I stopped when lesa got home. She asked me to help her make an omlet and she made some fried potatoes and added bacon on the side and we had a decent meal. Played a couple of games of horse with Bruce. After dinner I beat Dwyane, then Dillan, in chess. We watched some TV, then bed time started happening: first the boys, then Ashley, then Dillan, followed by Lesa and … I went back to work. I worked until 3:40am and now I’m gonna take this time to unwind and then try to get a couple of hours of sleep before heading into work to work some more!
