Lesa went into work as did I but first I took the kids to the bus stop and saw them off. I’m still sick, but maintaining. Lesa is run down as much as me. Ashley had a bit of a chill last night as well so maybe we’re all trying to get sick. Found out another one of my co-workers died on Sunday. He was only 44 years old and kind of a nice guy. Been thinking about it all day, he worked on the same project as me, and I’ve been working closely with him all year – just kind of puts things in perspective seeing how I’m 61. After school, Bruce went to Good News Club, Dwyane went to Rats! practice, Ashley and Dillan had another day of track practice. I picked up Bruce, who appeared to have had a good time. He was acting negatively toward going but I’m betting that’s changed. After I got Bruce, we waited for Dwyane to finish. We were waiting with Andie’s little sister who said Bruce was mean to her and Andie – Bruce denied it. Bruce likes Andie and asked her to be his Valentine and got her gifts but she said no – told Bruce, Ashley and Bruce’s friends if Bruce didn’t act so crazy and calmed down they could date – Bruce has not ceded to her demands. When Dwyane came out we headed to the high school to get Dillan and Ashley. Bruce and Dwyane ran to the track to get them – Andie’s mom parked close to us and Bruce was embarrassed to actually see Andie and not just her sister. Finally had all the kids and home we went. Lesa was home and fixed dinner – we had a venison roast and it was good. Homework. I took all the kids to work. My boss Doug cut down an Ash tree that was dead and going to be a problem and them chunked it and I loaded my trailer and got the wood. The kids helped. Have a lot of splitting to do but I have lots of nice firewood for the firepit! I’m sure Lesa walked the dogs and enjoyed herself while we were gone. Got home, watched some television, and then bedtime. Calling it an early one all around because we’re all tired and in my case almost full blown sick.
