Nice day out, kids got to spend a lot of time outside riding bikes, playing in the fort, messing with mud puddles, kid stuff. At lunch a storm came whipping in with pea-sized hail, it was coming down hard and hammering everything, the kids hadn’t really seen hail like that before and they were very excited, gathered it off the deck and held it and stuff, then the questions came: how big was the biggest, etc. It went away almost as quick as it came and out they went again. The afternoon was nice, I was wearing a T-shirt and shorts when we walked down to get the mail. Saw Kaleena and one of her friends on their bikes and they asked if Ashley could play and of course we had to say no. Also saw Kash, and Lexi who is back from North Carolina but don’t know for how long. Took chicks out to harden. Boys being boys and being rough all day. Ashley brought her tent in from outside and set it up in her room and plans on spending the night in it. All the kids got Chromebook time. It was too late to watch a movie so we watched a little bit of television. Everyone had to take showers as if we were actually going to go to church. Ashley has gotten up several time already, I hope she sleeps okay.
