I took kids to the bus stop and came back home. Lesa and I both went to talk to Dwyane’s Speech Therapist Darren Swango at Springville Elementary. Got to hear the kids announcements. Dwyane is doing really good, intermittent trouble with sh sounds. Afterward we talked about Dillan’s speech, he can pronounce sounds okay but tends to go to fast, run words together, and kind of mumbles his words making him difficult to understand – don’t we know it! We both went to work and after about an hour I came back to Bedford and spent the rest of the day at SAIC. Got a call from Mr Hudson while at work, Bruce told his class he wanted to kill everyone and take their money. That didn’t go well. Has to eat lunch and spend recess with Mr Hudson tomorrow. Stopped by Dollar General on the way home to get a sheet of poster board for Dillan’s D.A.R.E. school assignment. He got it done: say yes to drugs – say no to home, family, car, money and say yes to jail. I helped Ashley with her vocabulary words, Lesa helped Dwyane with reading and Bruce with sight words. Ashley read. No TV. Showers for big kids.
