Lesa worked from home, I split the day and worked from home in the AM and the office in the PM. The kids went to school. Today was the day of the Science Fair. Lesa and I went to the school and totally surprised them. Ashley spotted us first and showed us her and Hayden’s “How Long Does Bubble Gum Flavor Last?” exhibit. Next was Dillan and Tristan who did their exhibit on Nitinol (Nickel Titanium). I checked out the exhibit next to Dillan about a Hot Air Stirling Engine that the kid had working. Then Emma Tussey came running up to us and wanted us to check out her exhibit on growing cucumbers in various types of soil. Of course we had to check out Caroline’s exhibit on first impressions and the way the brain interrupts them. It was total chaos and it was cool. I had a smile the entire time and didn’t even think to take a single picture! Lesa drove separate and went home, and I went to work at the office. Bottled drinking water got delivered today. Lesa took the boys with her to the Post Office and CVS in Bloomfield after getting off the school bus. I headed home for a repeat of last night as regards baseball games. I think we lost? It was a late night again. Bruce was wanting a fire so I built a small fire in the fire pit – enough to do S’mores. Ashley and Dwyane got all pissy because they both wanted to be in charge of the S’mores. Lesa never really came out, Bruce had to go in and get ready for bed, ditto for Dwyane, Ashley ate a couple of S’mores and was gone. Dillan and I talked until the fire went out. I had a couple of shots and was talkative. Dillan must have enjoyed the conversation because he stuck around until the fire was out. We went in and everyone was in bed, even Lesa was although she was reading. Dillan hit the sack too. I’m still up but getting myself in the time to rest mindset.
