School canceled. Lesa went in an hour late. I stayed home and kept the kids with me, didn’t have it in me to drop them off at daycare. Ashley mostly watched TV and played with a doll, the boys played outside in the snow. Bruce came in and cried because his feet got too cold, got him warmed up, and put my heavy wool socks on him. Hot chocolate and some vegetable soup got them all warmed up again. Watched The Nutcracker Disney movie, then boys went back out, no issues this time. Fruit for a snack. Waited for Lesa to get home and then I fixed pancakes for dinner – piggy pancakes for the kids. Took Ashley to Amanda’s and picked up tons of Girl Scout snacks Ashley sold earlier in the year. I was carrying them in and coming up the deck steps and next thing I knew I was face-planting on the deck and stairs, I hurt my back and groin and it hurts to move and walk. Lesa broke out some buffalo summer sausage and cheese. More TV and baths and off to bed.
